Elim Hope Church Vision Update

Elim Hope Church Vision Update

Proverbs 29:18 states that “where there is no vision, the people perish”.

We as a leadership know the importance of God’s vision for us all as a church. We had a vision day in early May and there was a unity as to what that vision is. We meet again at the end of July, to discuss the vision further and make sure what we deliver to you all in October is the prophetic and God given vision from God. Can you all please pray with us, as we believe this vision will lead the church into a really exciting future. We aim to deliver the vision at our AGM in October. Praise God and Thank you! Rev, Scott Pash.

The Elim Pentecostal Church

The Elim Pentecostal Church is a growing Movement of more than 550 Christian congregations in the UK and Ireland.

Elim was founded in 1915 by George Jeffreys, a young Christian from Maesteg in South Wales. Jeffreys and a group of friends, known as the Elim Evangelistic Band, preached, started churches and witnessed a move of God that was characterized by miraculous healings and an explosion in the number of people becoming Christians.

In a world that can feel like a desert, our 21st-century churches seek to be a place of spiritual resource within their communities.

The founders wanted the name of their new Movement to express their vision and values, and so chose ‘Elim’, the name of an oasis in the Bible that the people of Israel discovered as they wandered through the desert. It provided shade and refreshment to all who encountered it.
